What Vendors Worry Most in 2011
A recent survey conducted by the highly reliable IT optimization and migration service provider SANpulse showed that half of the respondents mentioned technology refreshes as their top concern this year. SANpulse gathered hard data using its 2011 Enterprise Data Center Survey from more than 100 data center managers and decisions makers in charge of large volume of information gathered from their particular areas of concern and responsibility.
The second area of concern mentioned by the same respondents focused on data center consolidation. This has become another hot spot and area of special interest for big corporations. This phenomenon is mainly caused by the huge amount and sheer bulk of its transactions that a significant part of its work force is tied up with it. There is now a need to come up with innovative and more efficient means of consolidating company data for faster processing and disposal.
Companies which focus in technology refreshes and data center consolidation should now be in a mad scramble to come up with the latest and the best product to ease the fear of their preferred clients. As to who would hit it right could be the best watch to make as the year rolls on in its expected unpredictability.
